Diandra has been one of my favorite muses. I first met her several years ago in South Africa, where she walked my show. She's a great model, because she's a great person. Everything about her stands out, in a good way, and she is able to get into character and flashback into herself in a matter of seconds. It's not such an easy feat. The thing is, she's not just a pretty face to look at, she knows physical beauty is just skin deep, and for longevity in this industry, there needs to be something more.
Diandra is the first female model with albinism to be signed by a major modeling agency. She's used her success to bring awareness and to inspire children with and without the condition. Diandra has also spoken out about human trafficking and is a champion of those marginalized in society.
She spoke about her experiences in the Fashion world and in life in her Ted Talk.
Diandra is now a proud supermom, fighting the good fight, in New York City.
Diandra wears our silk victorian beaded cape and leather trapunto embroidered pant.
From April 9th through May 2018, get to know some beautiful and inspirational women as we launch and reveal the stunning portraits shot by photographer Emmanuel André for our new women's online platform for disruptive women of style, "Mimi + Me".
