From April 9th through May 2018, get to know some beautiful and inspirational women as we launch and reveal the stunning portraits shot by photographer Emmanuel André for our new women's online platform for disruptive women of style, "Mimi + Me".

Three years ago, we met photographer by night, Emmanuel André and immediately joined forces to create a series of photographs celebrating the Mimi Plange woman.
Mimi + Me was born.
-We invited a group of amazing women to a photo studio in NYC, but did not tell them why
-We presented each of them our entire collection and let them choose which outfit they wanted to wear for their photoshoot
-We provided hair and makeup to compliment their look
-We asked them all a few fun questions

If heaven exists, what would you like God to say when you arrive at the gate?

Shruti:  When I arrive at the gate, I would hope that God would say: “Congratulations, you made it!”

How would you like to die?

Shruti:  I would like to die with a smile on my face knowing that I lived a meaningful life

Which talent would you most like to have?

Shruti:  I would love to learn to speak many languages so I could travel freely and anywhere and communicate with the local people and really understand culture from their perspective

What is your greatest extravagance?

Shruti:  I probably spend lot of time and money on collecting adventures whether is visiting a new place, try a new restaurant, having new experiences because that’s what my memories are made of and I spend a lot of time and money on that

What profession other than yours would you like to attempt:

Shruti:  A profession I would like to attempt is to go to space, maybe be an astronaut and see what the world looks like from other planets.

What profession would you not like?

Shruti:  I don’t think I can be in the secret services, I would be the worst liar!

Thank you so much Shruti, for your Beauty!
