What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Isolde: I would have to say that’s my daughter, she is the biggest blessing, and also I would have to say that I couldn’t have done it without my partner so it was a collaborative effort. If I die today, I will go as a happy woman
What sound or noise do you love?
Isolde: It would have to be laughter and the ocean; both are calming, both bring joy and I can probably live with the sound of both forever
What sound or noise do you hate?
Isolde: It’s a little more ambiguous- the sound of misery or suffering; or only a sound I want to hear for a brief moment and not a sound that gives me any kind of energy that would at all move me forward
What are your heroes in real life?
Isolde: I would have to say my family, my parents, my brother, my dad for his courage and my mom for her compassion, her peacefulness and flexibility; my brother for his undying determination no matter how many mountains he has to climb. And also my partner for his determination and constant kindness
Which talent would you most like to have?
Isolde: I would love to have the gift of song! I love to sing; I don’t know if my voice brings people joy but it brings me joy; and if I can belt out a tune like Stevie Wonder or Whitney Houston, I think that would be marvelous for me.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing what would it be?
Isolde: I know it sounds cliché but I will just come back as me! I will do me, but I will just do me a little differently! I am who I am, take the good and the bad; I don’t want to be anybody else.
Thank you for your beauty Isolde!
