Mimi Plange is an award-winning designer working across garments, objects, textiles, and interiors.
Trained in architecture and fashion at the University of California, Berkeley and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, she has developed a practice shaped by structure, surface, scarification, and memory.
Her work begins from the conviction that surface is never superficial. Through what she defines as Inscribed Architecture, material becomes something to shape, mark, and build with meaning.
Her garments are held in the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the SCAD Museum of Art, and The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Her collaborations include Nike and LeBron James, Roche Bobois, The Shade Store, and Manolo Blahnik.
Founded in 2010, the studio is dedicated to craftsmanship, storytelling, and global design heritage.
