Inscribed Architecture
A DESIGN DISCIPLINE
AUTHORED BY MIMI PLANGE
-------------------------------------------------------------
The body is the first architecture.
Rooted in the visual and cultural language of scarification,
our practice moves across garments, objects,
space, textiles, and interiors,
treating each as a site where form can carry
mark, rhythm, and meaning.
Lineage, skin, scar, seam, ritual, return,
and repair form the foundation of
Inscribed Architecture,
a design language examining how memory,
identity, beauty, protection, sustainability, and cultural knowledge
are carried through material and structure.
Surface is never superficial.
